The PNW is home to many natural landscapes. From the miles of pristine shoreline to glacier-fed lakes nestled in and around the mountains, Western Washington provides vast opportunities to capture the beauty around us.

After years of having taken photos only here and there, just to have them deleted them because of a “lack of composition,” my photography career hit a turning point in 2016 on a drive to Bellingham, Washington.

Stopping along Hannegan Road while on a date with my wife, I snapped a photo of the Twin Sisters mountains covered in a beautiful blanket of new snow. After arriving home, I noticed that I had captured the barn in the foreground as well! I began to realize that maybe I could take great photographs after all. I purchased my first camera a few months later from a local garage sale.

Why landscapes? My passion for landscape photography is inspired by, and goes hand-in-hand with, my love for weather. Since 2016 I've been published, commissioned, won local photo contests, and even been featured on the local Lyndenopoly board game!
